One mistake can set you back years. AKN Law Firm gives you experienced, honest representation, from an attorney who went through the immigration process herself and never forgot how it felt.

AKN Law Firm handles immigration cases across all 50 states, with the kind of personalized attention that large firms can't offer. You'll always know where your case stands, what comes next, and exactly what it will cost.
Aisha Nanyanzi didn't just study immigration law, she lived it. When she first navigated the U.S. immigration system, she experienced the same confusion, uncertainty, and fear that her clients face today. That experience never left her.
Before becoming an attorney, Aisha spent nearly a decade as an immigration paralegal, working through hundreds of cases across every major category of immigration law. She saw firsthand how much the outcome of a case depended on having the right person in your corner, someone who not only knew the law, but genuinely cared about what was at stake.
That's the attorney she became. At AKN Law Firm, Aisha brings both her legal expertise and her lived experience to every case, offering honest guidance, clear communication, and dedicated advocacy for people who deserve a fair shot at a future in the United States.
Helping families reunite through petitions, visas, and status adjustment applications.

Facing removal is one of the most frightening experiences imaginable. We fight to keep you and your family together.
Being detained shouldn't mean waiting indefinitely. We work to get you released while your case moves forward.

If returning home isn't safe, you may have the right to stay. We help you build the strongest case for asylum protection.
Supporting workers and employers with employment-based immigration matters.
Flat fees, clearly stated before we begin. No hourly surprises, no hidden costs, ever.
10+ years working immigration cases before passing the bar. Aisha has handled more cases than most attorneys twice her experience.
If we're not the right fit for your case, we'll tell you, and point you in the right direction. Honesty first, always.
One wrong form. One missed deadline. One attorney who didn't explain your options. Immigration cases don't give you do-overs, so who's in your corner matters.
Licensed to represent clients in all 50 states of America and abroad.

It is not too late. We handle active removal cases and have experience with Cancellation of Removal, Asylum and Withholding of Removal, and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). One client came to me days before their final court hearing, I prepared them, appeared with them, and the case was dismissed. If you are in removal proceedings, call us as soon as possible. Time matters, but there are often more options than you think.

An immigration attorney is a licensed lawyer, bound by the rules of the State Bar and legally accountable for the advice they give you. An immigration consultant (sometimes called a "notario" or "immigration specialist") is not a licensed attorney and cannot legally represent you in court. Unfortunately, many immigrants are harmed by consultants who take money and file incorrect paperwork, and by the time the mistake is discovered, it can be very difficult to fix. We are licensed in all 50 states and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). When your future is at stake, that distinction matters.
Whether your case is straightforward or complicated, you deserve an honest answer about where you stand. Book a consultation today, no pressure, no commitment, just clarity.
